An illustration of Old Harry Rocks in Studland. The place is very special to me as I’ve been visiting there since I was a child.
I was really pleased with how the cacti seem to fit together in this illustration. The green and pops of pink work really well as a repeating pattern.
This drawing was used as the background of my own wedding invitations.
One of the cards I made from a series of greetings cards that I sold online.
In this image, I spent lots of time trying to capture all the intricate details of people’s faces and hair. It was interesting trying to portray the different materials of the suit and the dress.
I was commissioned to make a house number sign for someone who lived on a forest-y named road. I am reminded of spring by the wildflowers and foxgloves in the forest.
This drawing was commissioned by a gift company called ‘From Brum with Love.’ The brief was to create some Birmingham themed packaging to go inside the box and protect the contents. This was eventually printed onto tissue paper to go inside.
Every year, I visit Dorset on a summer camp and it’s my favourite place in the world. In the distance you can see the Old Harry which looks glorious (especially on a sunny day)!
Puffins seem to be some of the most mischievous birds. I enjoyed developing interaction between the characters in this one and trying to depict their cheeky nature.
This year, I wanted to showcase the wildlife I had enjoyed watching over lockdown in 2020. Most evenings, on my walks, I would see foxes in the forest. I particularly enjoy drawing foxes as they have lots of character and quirks.
This map shows all the major landmarks in Bournville, Birmingham.
This illustration was inspired by a sunrise over Plymouth. The sea and sky were so blue and it seemed fitting to remember it with an illustration.
100x80cm A traditional piece working on colours and detail. I love how much detail there is in every direction when exploring woodland.
